Day 56

Today is day 56 of the 365 but day 1 of the remodeling process! That's right, we've begun remodeling our family room to make it a studio! So, today's 365 picture is a re-do at the 365 Day 1. Here's the original Day 1 so you can make the connection! lol

Day 56 of 365 but Day 1 of the remodel!

Here's our before. We pulled down one piece to see what we were dealing with. We were fooled though. That's where a door had once been but my dad had removed it when he first bought house in '90. The rest of the walls, well.....

That's about 6 or so layers of wallpaper. Seriously. I counted 6 different types of wallpaper! I'll post more pics of the different paper later!

WOOHOO!!! I got my alienbee lights today!! The UPS guy brought me 5 boxes today! 2 were for the lights and accessories, the others were my battery grip and grey card, my new external flash, and clothes. lol

Here's a a shot with the new lights. Brian was making funny faces for me and you can see SOME of the boxes in the background!

Just a quick shot of what I was doing in class today. The idea is a play on "wireless". The phone is getting away from the wires and the wire is supposed to look like a snake trying to attack it.

I was playing around with a clamp light because I was bored. I used one of those shop lights that looks like a silver bowl with a 100 watt light. No reflectors, no diffusers. Just me, my light, and my camera on a 5 second timer.

OMG! I have to share my amazing capture I'm so proud of!! This bunny was in my yard up against a tree. I was literally 3 feet away from it and zoomed all the way in with my 18-135 lens. I couldn't believe it stayed there. Once I got closer than 3 feet though it ran to a different part of the yard.

The man took this picture of me. We downloaded a free trial of Portrait Professional which basically restructures your face to make you more "beautiful". So, we did one of both of us to see how it would change us. The only thing it did to both of us was make our faces a little skinnier. It also adjusted my nose slightly but, I figured that much.

My son likes getting wrapped up in a blanket so when he brought me this large piece of white fabric I had laying on the bed I knew I had to wrap him up! lol
